Station Engineer
Juan Johnson
One Media LLC (Detroit)
Founded by Juan Johnson after 25+ years in the industry, One Media LLC was created to give professionals in television, graphics, music, and marketing a platform to showcase their talents. Partnering with Bev Welch, Michael Williams, Dahryl Gooden, Furman Barnes, and Bernadette Williams, Juan turned the vision into reality. Over time, the original partners launched their own ventures — exactly the spirit One Media was built to inspire: empowering creatives to soar as entrepreneurs.
Today, One Media LLC is expanding beyond video and television broadcasting into internet radio through One Media World Radio — streaming globally via platforms like TuneIn, Streema, YouTube, and Facebook. With new radio and TV programs added monthly, and new internet streaming stations every three months, One Media is rapidly growing and raising the bar.
At the helm, CEO Juan Johnson brings decades of production expertise, believing:
"It’s not about the equipment, it’s about who’s behind the equipment."
His hands-on approach ensures every project, no matter the size, receives the same quality expected from major studios. Juan’s proudest achievement: transforming Detroit’s CDTV-6 local cable channel into a network-caliber station with Nielsen ratings rivaling the majors.
Today, One Media World Radio is the thriving internet radio arm of One Media LLC, playing music across genres from around the globe and quickly becoming a key player in Detroit’s fast-growing digital media landscape.
